I mostly rely on brow pencils over the years. Occasionally, I also like using brow powder or eyeshadow because it creates a natural look that is not as harsh looking as you would get from pencils. Therefore with pencils, I prefer to use ones that have a powdery finish to achieve a softer look. I have been using three different brow pencils lately and they are all great in their own little ways...
Same order in both pictures:
Top - Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil in 002 Hazel - Warmest brown out of the three pencils. Great for brunettes with warm or golden highlights or redheads
Middle - Tom Ford Brow Sculptor in 02 Taupe - Cool grayish brown. I blogged about it here last year. The flat slanted tip is the best. This sculptor is also the most water resistant
Bottom - MAC Veluxe Brow Liner in Brunette - Neutral brown that leans warm. This is the softest and has the most powdery finish out of the three
From drugstore to high-end, I currently love all three. They all come with a brush on one end for blending. Have you tried these brow pencils? What is your HG brow product?
Until next post......
I'm using the Chantecaille one at the moment which is ok, but Tom Ford or the new hourglass one are next on my list :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried those particular pencils but they all sound great! :) I'm currently using Benefit's Brow Zings but don't know if it has HG status. I am actually thinking of trying MUFE's Aqua Brow next. :P
ReplyDelete(Hi hi!! Thanks for your sweet comment. I am doing well. Just a little lazy when it comes to blogging...hee hee ;)
I think full brows are so lush, I really try to not overpluck mine!

I did once have full brows until I overplucked and they didn't grow back :( I endured a brow tattoo which was painful but ultimately worth it cause it saved me alot of time filling in my brows which I still do with a Lioele Auto Eyebrow Pencil which I think is a pretty awesome product :)

I'm pretty hopeless when it comes to brows, it definitely needs to be filled in daily though. My favorite product is Lioele Auto Eyebrow Pencil, it matches my skintone really well!
ReplyDeleteThin brows run in my family.. I'm scared for the day that all my hairs fall out, haha! I don't use a pencil for brows, but I use the Benefit Brow-zings kit with the wax & powder. Love it!
ReplyDeleteFull brows were so "in" - I think they still are but not as much. They really do make the face look more youthful - love that picture of Arizona Muse. I don't do anything with my brows usually, but I have a Rimmel pencil for when I want to put in a bit of effort :p
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried the Deborah Lippmann one yet but will check it out if the Dior one doesn't work out. (Hopefully I won't have to of course) Speaking of DL polishes, I still want to try Candy Shop. I'm so behind...lol! ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!!
