Desert Essence Blemish Touch Stick - My Natural Blemish Buster!

Hello, Whenever I feel a pimple coming on, I reach for Desert Essence Blemish Touch Stick to keep it at bay.  This product is cheap and natural.  Also, this brand is widely available at many health food stores and markets.  I found it at a local Whole Foods Market.

Product breakdown

Ingredients listing from the website - (Natural Grain) Alcohol Denat., Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Aniba Rosaeodora (Rosewood) Wood Oil, Calendula Officinalis Flower Oil, Cedrus Deodara Wood Oil, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Oil, Citrus Aurantium Amara (Bitter Orange) Peel Oil, Cymbopogon Martini Oil (Palmarosa), Gaultheria Procumbens (Wintergreen) Leaf Oil, Laurus Nobilis Oil, Lavandula Spica (Lavender) Flower Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Melaleuca Viridiflora Leaf Oil (Tea Tree), Myrtus Communis Oil (Myrtle)

It is completely natural for those who are concerned.  There are no parabens, dyes, petroleum compounds, and animal testing.  See the complete list on the website.

Texture - Non-oily liquid in a roller ball tube
Scent - Natural tea tree and herbal scent.  Can bother some noses because it is quite a strong scent.
Skin type - All
Usage - It should be applied to clean skin.  I do not like to apply the product with the roller ball directly onto the skin.  After I wash my hands, I roll some product onto the back of my hand.  Then I use my clean finger and dab some to the affected areas.  It can be used on pimples, insect bites, and other skin irritations up to six times a day.  If you use the product at the first sign of a pimple and apply it multiple times a day, it will help dry up the spot within 24 hours.  I have used it underneath makeup and it is not a problem.  It dries quickly and does not leave any residue, so it can be used during the day and night.  I have also used it on my SO (significant other) and he enjoys using it as much as I do.
Price - $8.99 for .31 fl oz..  It is on sale now for $7.19 on the website, the price can't be beat!
Repurchase? - Yes

Until next post......

  1. I've heard good things about tea tree oil but have not tried it yet. This sounds like a really nice product. =D Have you checked out the Whole Foods deal on Living Social today?

  4. Sounds really good! I am not normally a fan of roller balls either but if it works well, it's def worth a try to heal those pesky blemishes!
