New Year's Day Adventures

Hello, Happy 2012!  This is officially the first post in the new year.  I would like to thank you all for reading and supporting my blog the past four months.  It has been a fun and good learning experience for me.  I have met so many nice bloggers from the States and around the world, it is fantastic to be a part of the blogging community.  I look forward to the possibilities that 2012 will bring, I am excited to try many more new products and take better care of myself.  I also can't wait to catch up and read all of your blogs as well.

On the first day of the new year, we decided to head to the South Bay in the Bay Area to do some shopping and eating.  There isn't much to do on this day and I just wanted to take it easy and relax.  I think everyone else must have the same idea, it is quite crowded everywhere we went!

Maybe many of you in the Bay Area already know this, but I had just heard that The Face Shop is in Santa Clara.  So I decided to find it since we had other business in the South Bay that day.  Well, I found it, but they were closed!  I was able to look inside the store though.  It is a small store, but well stocked with all kinds of goodies.  The store is located inside a Korean food court, so it wasn't a total waste of time for me.  I got a chance to try out some yummy food while I was there.

Kimchee Pancake

Kimchee Fried Rice

Bi Bim Bop with Bulgogi Beef

For food from a food court, I must say everything was really good!  I know I will be heading back soon to eat more and shop at The Face Shop.

Thanks for reading!  Until next post......

  1. OMG! Thanks for the food porn! There a really good Kim Chee hot pot place next to the 99 Ranch Market in Cupertino across from the old HP (New Apple) campus in Cupertino!

  2. Thanks. I must try the Kimchee Hot Pot place. I think it must be in the Cupertino Village Shopping Center.

Love to meet and hear from my fellow bloggers and readers. Do not leave spam or inappropriate links here, they will be removed.
